Easy Dental 12.1 is now available with added features to help increase practice efficiency. A complete redesign of the Document Center offers improved options for saving and recalling patient and practice documents of many types—including PDFs for the first time. The new integration with CareCredit financing makes it easier for practices to provide patients with the care they need in a timely manner. Building on improvements introduced in Easy Dental 12.0, these features are helping practices increase their productivity.
Storing and Retrieving Documents
Easy Dental 12.1 offers a major redesign of the Document Center, featuring numerous enhancements:
Import PDF Documents
For the first time, practices can import PDFs into Easy Dental. Plus, users can easily navigate between the different pages of a PDF using thumbnails available within Easy Dental.
Improved Document Management
New tools allow users to preview documents and to combine related documents. Users can preview most file types directly within Easy Dental, including Word, Excel, PDF, and others. For easier recall of related documents, users can combine original files into a single Easy Dental document.
Redesigned Tagging System
A simple, easy-to-use new tagging system lets users link documents to a patient, provider, employer, referral, or insurance provider—to aid in locating documents.
Filter for Documents
To help streamline recall of documents, practices can filter by name, date, or any tags assigned in the document list.
No Document Conversion Required
Easy Dental 12.1 automatically converts documents in the document center, so users can easily recall previous documents—and skip the time and hassle of manual document conversions.
When patients need immediate treatment but lack financial resources, practices can help by offering the option to use CareCredit. Easy Dental 12.1 makes the CareCredit application process easy by automatically transferring essential patient information to the CareCredit online application. From there, the patient can supply the remaining information and submit to receive a credit decision, sometimes within seconds. Once the patient is approved, the practice can process CareCredit transactions from within Easy Dental and have payments automatically posted back to the Accounts. As the patient has future financing needs, the practice can look up cardholder account numbers and access CareCredit without leaving Easy Dental.
How to Get Easy Dental 12.1
Practices with a current support plan that are using Easy Dental 12.0 or any version of Easy Dental 11 can update immediately by accepting and installing updates in their Easy Dental Update Manager. Practices who have a version prior to 11.0, or would like some help with their upgrade, should call 1.800.824.6375, Option 2, for Support.
